Guilt Quilt

You wear your guilt like a quilt
all to keep out of the cold
though you're warm in the cold is your knowing
and your covered seem warm
but your shoulders are showing

Slip off your clarcle of electric light
on your white guilty skin
milk in the sun like your
eyes on the moon take
away from the flies that plague
you still shroud today

It's hot and I'm distracted
and I can't think straight
from all the heats distortion and your crookey ways

For all the time that's passed
even if a stone spined efdgy
could not save whats dead in the grave
Tho the prayers prayed might stay in the stone save

it's hot and I'm distracted
and I can't think straight
for all the heats distortion and your crooked ways
