Six White Boomers
Early on one Christmas Day, a joey Kangaroo
Was far from home and lost in a great big zoo
"Mummy, where's my mummy? Where is she?" (She's got away)
"Oh well, I know where you can find your mummy son, hop on my this sleigh"
Up beside the bag of toys, little Joey hopped
But they hadn't gone far when Santa stopped
Unharnessed all the reindeer and Joey wondered why
Then he heard a far off booming in the sky
Boo! Boy!
Boo! Boing!
Boop! Toink!
Prrp! Prrp!
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
On his Australian run
Pretty soon old Santa began to feel the heat (c'mon)
Took his fur lined boots off to cool his feet (oh)
Into one popped Joey, and curled up right away
While those old man kangaroos kept pulling on the sleigh (hey)
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
On his Australian run
Then Joey said to Santa, 'What about the toys?"
"Aren't you going to give some to these poor suffering girls and boys?"
"They've had all their presents sonny, we were here last night"
"This is an extra trip, it's Joey's special flight"
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
On his Australian run (Joey you alright?)
Soon the sleigh was flashing past, right over Marble Bar
"Slow down there!" He cried, "It can't be very far"
"Hop up on my lap here, and have a look around there"
"There she is, there's mummy, over there, laying down"
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
On his Australian run
Well, that's the bestest Christmas treat that Joey ever had
Curled up in mother's pouch feeling snug and glad
The last they saw was Santa heading towards the sun
The only year the boomers worked a double run
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun, na-na-na
Six white boomers, snow white boomers (hey)
On his Australian run (oh)
Oh, c'mon over here Bonja
Come Nobi, come Bezzer
Come Jomo, come Slim
Come Stretch, come Blue
Come Spark, come Stinker
Come Dopie
Come Flinker
Come Danelle
Danelle?
What a funny name for a reindeer
It's not a reindeer, it's a boomer
Oh, yeah
That's a funny name for a kangaroo
Was far from home and lost in a great big zoo
"Mummy, where's my mummy? Where is she?" (She's got away)
