The Night in Gales

The nightingales
We get all low and raccoon down by snowy wall
And cuddle up and wade in, blessed
And that's not all that's bad, I guess

We elder trees identified with cold white times
So moved aside to let the sun gleam it so long,
To have it's fun with us and go

Someone does, and doves move
And from the shade, a shadow soon
Will come up front by way of trouble
Through all the din o' muddy gravel
Dark garden's grief will just surround us
While we are walking steady and sleeping fastest
