Hell Of A Fight

Well, it's sure been a cold cold winter
Going home is one hell of a drive
But I've run through my money in Nashville
And it's time to get on with my life

Oh, and I got a head full of questions
And I haven't given up on my dreams
I just can't get out of a hurry
And I'm falling apart at the seams

And I hope my heart
Don't fall apart on me now

I can't remember the last time
That I fell asleep on my own
Or the last time I didn't have to call someone
To tell him that I'm coming home

Oh, and I know I've had one too many
When I just can't get enough
It took three days in a lonely place
But at least the pain it woke me up

And I hope my heart
Don't fall apart on me now

Yeah, it scares me but I don't mind
I keep on driving across that line
Maybe if I just hold on tight
Wherever I land I'm able to stand

And say that it's been worth the fight
Yeah, and it's been one hell of a fight

I'm still running for something
And I had to leave some things behind
I outgrew somebody that needed somebody
That never ever changed their mind

And I hope my heart
Don't fall apart on me now

Yeah, it scares me but I don't mind
I keep on driving across that line
Maybe if I just hold on tight
Wherever I land I'm able to stand
And say that it's been worth the fight
God, it's been one hell of a fight

Sure been a cold cold winter
Going home is one hell of a drive
But I've run through my money in Nashville
And it's time to get on my life
