Somnambulism

They say the problem in the world is that there's too many players
When players play games and life is serious
Too much apathy and not enough concern for things in the world
That have gone oh so long
Not enough men loving women or loving themselves
Too many sisters with stank ghetto attitude
Just mad about shit when all I wanted was just a drink of water

Don't even get me started on the war over oil
And the education system in shambles
Don't even talk to me about tax breaks for the rich
When the poor get poorer
And can't get health care
Be aware that it only gets worse when we continue to look out for self
Thinking it don't concern you cuz you got food on the table
But those other people are still dying

They're dying mentally cuz you can't see the right in reparations
You didn't do it so why should you care
You think AIDS is still for gays and being gay is a sin
So fuck 'em anyway, right?
You think the Jews lied about the Holocaust
And Mexican are lazy, taking all of our jobs
Had your eye on your neighbor, motherfucking sand nigger
They should send them all back to Afghanistan right
But man where's your God in all of that
So tell me where's your love
Too busy walking around sleepwalking
Touch someone, feel connected
And wake yourself up out of that slumber
