Lately, I've been shaking out of my own weathered skin.
I've been breaking my back for constellations and settlement.
My bones are as stable as the sand that I bear underneath my feet.
I've been holding on apprehensively and I hate the fact you got the best of me.

But, I can't go back to that.
And I need some ground to grow,
but you've gotta ask.

Where are you now?

Lately I've been breaking every single one of my fragile bones.
You've been begging me to talk it out but, I haven't been home,
Well... I've got the words, but the not proper heart, at least currently as I wait.
And I know You'll always be apart of it, I just wish I'd let you be the best of it.

It's so hard to trace my tracks.
'cause I've been digging all these holes,
Even though I've got a path,
I've burned through a lot of those.
But you've gotta ask.

Where are you now?
I don't know.

But, I can't go back to that.
And I need some ground to grow,
Even though I've got a path,
I've burned through a lot of those.

Where are you now?
