Spring can charm you
but also harm you
and like the poet said;
it hurts when buds are breaking
they were covered up all winter
in a soft sedative bed

and it hurts when drops are falling
hesitantly clinging to the branch
waiting to be thrown
they're powerless of gravity
oh gravity is merciless
and the water is so, so cold

Hold onto safety
hold onto neutral grounds
precautions must be taken
as long as your heart's still in the
lost & found

cure the fever
try a little reason
you know your heart's to blame
and time will tell you how it's done
yeah time can heal each wound
and cure each flame
that's burning in your brain

but do you wanna
do you really wanna
be a slave to sanity?
Well, what may look like love
might just as well be foggy phantoms
of your mind
or just pure chemistry...
