Who Is Like Our God

The Lord is not our equal
He doesn't need the help of man
Who could ever give Him counsel
Who could ever stop His sovereign plan
Though men may boast of wisdom
And be filled with pride within
Who is bold enough to answer
When his Maker comes to question him

Though rulers rise against Him
The King of Heaven laughs
He rebukes them in His anger
And terrifies them in His wrath
He punishes the wicked
Pours judgment out on sin
Yet this Champion of Justice
Is a Savior if you call on Him

And we call on the name
Of the holy sovereign Lord
The King of all the earth
And we hope in the power
Of His awesome mighty hand
We tremble at His word
Who is like our God

The heavens sound with thunder
As His majesty is shown
The four and twenty elders
Fall down and worship at His throne
His eyes are flames of fire
And His face is like the sun
He's the Alpha and Omega
The One who was and is to come
