When I Think of California

As I'm sitting on the rocks above the roaring sea.
On California's coast.
Watching the seagulls fly around me.
Without a care, there's freedom there, I can see me there.

I as I gaze into the sand to listen to the breeze.
I think about my life and the time I had feeling so lonely.
Without a care, there's no freedom there, because I was there.

As I think about the sun, gleaming on the stream,
that trickles down to the water that lies beneath me.
As the waves grow.
Then I hear a gigantic roar.
As it hits, hits the sandy shore.
Instrumental

As I hear the busy streets of the city that I know and
the silence that is here, that shows nature is wonderful.
Like the thunderstorms and the birds that swarm.
On California's morns.

As I think about the mounts and the grasslands that I know and the
trees that do grow and the rain on roofs and the seasons changing.
Well it's natures way to make me feel this way.
