I've received a call this morning how was I supposed to know
I could have used a warning but you never let it show
I never saw a sign, never heard a cry for help
You wouldn't look it in the eye feeling sorry for yourself

Getting through to you not as easy as it seemed
You tried to dream all your sorrows away
These suicidal dreams
Read the note you left no sense of it could I make in my mind
Why would a young man leave his family and his friends behind?
