Scout's Honor

Where is all the love?
It's been washed out by the flood.
All the kids wear street clothes
On the first Monday of the month.
And the principal will moan
When she sees how much I've grown.
After 7 years
They stamp our ears
And send us on our own.

He folded like a flag,
He folded like a scout.
He put it in a bag (yeah)
And never took it out.
He never had a chance
Because he never took a breath.
He tried to hold his ground
And got washed out like the rest.

Daddy hold my hand,
We're on unstable land.
This plane is going to land
In the middle of the ocean.

L-E-S-S-A-V-Y-F-A-V

Put your hands across your chest,
Put the seat around your neck,
Put your head between your knees
And take a last breath.
