Delusional

My head starts spinning when I think of you
I imagine things that I can't do
You're soft and sweet I wonder if you're real
So many things inside me that I know you can't feel.

There's something left for me but not for you
I try to find a way to see it through
I know you're here right next to me
But every time I look you disappear
And I just want to keep you near me.

Another hour
Going down the drain
I'd buy you flowers
But then I come to my sense

Delusional
Too emotional
My mind stops working when I'm with you
There's something left
But it's all flying out the door
I'd bring you here
Inside myself
And I'd show everything
That's leaking from my pores.

I try to focus but I lose my sight
I try to speak out but the words aren't right
I want to tell you but I can't
And you know I could never lie to you
I just don't know what's real or true

I close my eyes now
And take a look inside
I want to leave now
Maybe I'll come to my senses now.
