The Duck Parade

THE DUCK PARADE By Rachel Sumner

I went to the park on a sunny day
And saw the duck parade. (quack, quack)
There were eight baby ducks all fuzzy and fluff
At the duck parade. (quack, quack)

Then mama duck said, "Let's go to the lake."
And baby ducks got in line,
And they wiggled and they woggled,
And they shimmied and they shoggled
And they sang a happy song. (quack, quack)
Then they marched, marched, marched.
Oh, they marched, marched, marched,
And papa helped the littlest along. (quack, quack)

Then mama duck said, "Let's go for a swim."
And baby ducks said, "Oh, boy!"
And they wiggled and they woggled. . .
Then they swam, swam, swam, oh, they swam, swam, swam,
And papa helped the littlest along. (quack, quack)

Then mama duck said, "It's time to eat."
And baby ducks said, "Yum, yum!"
And they wiggled and they woggled. . .
Then it was bottoms up, it was bottoms up,
And this is the end of the song. (quack, quack)
