Voodoo Juju

The night had started off badly
When the taxi didn't come
So they stole some keys off her daddy
And jumped in the Volkswagon
The car was running on empty
And they had to stop to fill
He didn't have any money
So she had to pay the bill

At the party the crowd all seemed crazy
With a wild stare in their eyes
She was feeling uneasy
But he was hypnotized

We're in your city
We're in your home
We got the voodoo juju
And we've got trombones
At twelve, she started leaving
She said "I've got to get out of here"
She said "I have to get to work in the morning"
He just shrugged and reached for a beer

At two, the drums were still banging
And the bass had hit the floor
A trombone was heading towards him
And that's the last thing that he saw...
We're in your city
We're in your home
We got the voodoo juju
And we've got trombones

We'll conquer your body
We'll annexe your soul
Transmitting our voodoo juju
Through our trombones

He woke on top of a mattress
At the local council tip
His legs, they wouldn't stop wiggling
Because the juju had gone to his hips
