First things first take god be all the glory if it wasn't for his
grace there'd be no hope in my story I thank you for your love your
love that never changes cus a thousand
times I failed you but a thousand you forgave me
You forgive me and forget it and you never regret it,
can't begin to understand that my god I just don't get it I'm feeling
so unworthy my god what can I tell you I know
what's right and wrong but every single day I failed you
Jesus come into my heart please change my way of thinking I wanna
walk on water with no worries or sinking from the inside to the
outside lord I wanna be consumed and I dont
care what people think all I aim to please is you so

Never was a thug no never was a gangster I was just a youngster
dealing with a lot of anger,
used to walk around feeling so misunderstood
mean mugging everybody just wishing somebody would
I was always agitated dealing with a lot of pain things at home were
pretty crazy some of y'all might understand,
see Dad had a drinking problem and battled under addictions
he would try to straighten up but end up in the wrong directions
It was hard for me to function dealing with these type of issues,
wanted to ask for help but too scared of what people thinked though
so I acted really tough when inside I was really broken but
even a lie that ment don't cry so my feelings they stayed unspoken
I looked at my peers seemed as happy as they could be or
could it be they they were faking and struggling just like me
Father god I need your help cus this pain is unrelenting,
I don't wanna live my life being fake always pretending so
