Bright New World

Someday a bright new wave will break upon the shore
And there will be no sickness, no more crying, no more war
And little children never will grow hungry anymore
And there will be a bright new morning over there

Someday there'll be an end to unkind words and cruel

And peace will be the way of life with love the only rule

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth
For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away
And the sea was no more
And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem
Coming down out of heaven from God
And I heard a great voice from the throne saying
"Behold, the dwelling of God is with man
And he will dwell with them
And they shall be his own
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes
And death shall be no more
Neither shall there be mourning
Nor crying, nor pain anymore
For the former things have passed away"
