Pride crumbles swiftly when stabbed in the stomach.
Tear gas and rubber bullets, night sticks and ammunition, cocaine and television are all designed to control our destiny.
Prayers for the suffering.
Prayers for the chosen.
Answered enmass by our collective will.
Massive erosion, close to implosion of symbols we've all taken lifetimes to build.
Enters the epoch of conjuring in to the dormant abyss from which our image gleaned.
Fist clenched in protest heavier still than the bones of our ancestors strewn in the sea.
