No Show

The play has ended, the curtain shredded, everyone went home
We found a reason, to keep believing, we found it on our own

It's time to let the circus fade it's time to exit the stage and though the maps
We held were lost I was so sure our paths would cross

No use in hiding, while I'm confiding, there's no one to ignore
Now I'm leaving, waited all evening, staring at the door

It's time to let the dead one sleep, it's time to choose who you should keep
And though the train you rode was lost, I was so sure our paths would cross

But it's a no show, no show, no show, won't ever come back again?

She's driving the train, she rides on the train
She's driving the train, I'm under the train

This indecision, you keep on living, it won't wear off on me
You'll get a stand up, you'll hear the door shut, but you will not see, me no

It's time to pretend that you are real it's time to accept just what you feel
And though the maps we held were tossed, could we both be a little lost?
