A Step for Dance

pain struck me with a cry
silent pictures passing on by
i apologize for
spinning words like tops on the floor
does this mean that i'm insincere
i've wasted thoughts unlike a spendthrift

sincerely i have lied to you

carelessly sown circles must restart

white faced my mime's quite an act
turned justified acrobat

a star spangled canopy overhead
