Riding Our Ponies In the Big Parade

This morning after we woke up we found our ponies,
Led them to the stable and we brushed them down,
Fed them both some oats while we found their saddles,
Then we took our ponies into town.

Now we're riding our ponies in the big parade,
Marching so proudly while the music plays, we're-

Clowns are going 'round and 'round on unicycles,
Juggling big bowling pins while they ride,
Ahead of them an elephant is slowly marching,
His long nose is swinging side to side!

The marching band is playing with their great, big tubas,
The majorettes are twirling their batons,
The pretty floats are rolling through the middle of the city,
The children they keep cheering is along!

The fire engines rolling by, so red and shiny,
The sheriff's marching in his cowboy hat,
The beauty queens are waving and they're throwing candy,
