I'm embarrassed to write words about the way I feel
For fear that someone else won't think they're real
If it's strange that I cry because of my life
Then you've clearly got it better than me
I know what it's like to have built up talent
And then wonder if it was even worth it

Here I am divided underwater with no soul
I feel as though I'm drowning

I guess that we change when we are inspired by something better
But how the hell is it supposed to work
When you keep getting that rejection letter?
At some point you've got to sit back and analyze the facts
And re-determine your life

And think about it just don't stop
Cause it's hard when the only the people

Are telling you you're wrong

And what I found was nothing, dying now I'm getting old
