Jesus Made a Way
Jesus Made A Way
Hawkins
Jesus made a way, a way, a way...
Jesus made a way for me.
Lead 1: When He opened up my eyes and
showed the me, inside and began to make a change.
To represent His glorious name
He blessed me through a school of pain.
To break the mold that brought Him shame.
Lead 2: It seems my yesterdays were oh so heavy.
Not ever receiving the promises made to me.
Yet clinging to the hope that lies within
me, by faith I held on to what I did not see.
Lead 1: Then His life began to burst forth first
inside of me, and I knew that my heart was not the same.
With new eyes, I saw myself so very differently,
even though outside some things remained the same.
Lead 2: But how I sought and I got a new attitude.
One that my circumstances could not control.
But oh I prayed until the victory was born inside
of me, even though outside a change did not unfold.
Lead 1: But the work inside made me like a new man.
As I said, YES You can trust me, yes You can.
Now abundant blessings but with some tribulations.
They come and go as I grow and stand.
He Made a way, oh yes He did.
My Jesus made a way...
Lead 2: When He allowed the pain, I felt disdain, to reclaim.
Until He changed that old man in me.
He Made a way, oh yes He did.
My Jesus made a way...
Lead 1 & 2: He made a way, yes He did.
I'm reaching my goal, He's making me whole.
Oh, oh, oh...
Jesus made a way for me.
Thank You for the way, thank You for the pain...
Thank You for Your work in me.
