April Fool

You know I've always been a practical joker.
I guess it's just my nature and my way.
I got my 1st job on a construction site
And I started on April Fools Day.
When the foreman said I better get acquainted
So I decided I would make myself known
I filled this GMC with some Orleans cement
Then I packed it in a no parking zone
You're an April Fool.
I got you and there's nothing you can do
I got you real good, I had my way
You've got to love April Fools Day
When I thought that I was in a pile of trouble
But the boss invited me for a beer
When I pulled my truck up to the local bar
I started greeting from mayor to mayor
When she asked if I was looking for a good time
So we started getting heavy in my truck
When I opened her blouse and saw her Adams apple
I knew that I was shoot out of luck
April Fool
They got you and there's nothing you can do
You can do all the hurdles
They're gonna do undo you
And that's how you get cued on April Fool
And that's the story of the April Fool
And that's how I got cued on April Fool.
