Precautionary Principle

Green leaves to black and blue sky to white
All colors of the spectrum are gone; they've left my eye
That looks through a straw in a straight thin line
Only towards whats to come, how this narrows my sight

In what could be a beautiful life
Have I just passed that time
To change and know what's right
Must i constantly repeat myself and not take my own advice

My father always told me
"Son, it's not about what happens
Your character's defined by the choice you make."

Go with open eyes
But brother you be wise
Some things most wanted are those least needed
It's hard not to cross that line
Go with open eyes
But brother you be wise
Some things most wanted are those least needed
It's hard not to cross that line
My father always told me
"Son, it's not about what happens
Your character's defined by the choice you make."
Go with open eyes
