Pointless Lowlands

When I started out I never knew it was starting
I focused on those alluring points in the distance
I was descending from a peak in the driven snow
I was dumb and clumsy, the cold was friendly
and I wasn't cold

Down I came a narrow valley
It was all exciting for quite a while
The points I still couldn't decipher
Time and again I would search the mysterious sky
My vocabulary was enough for me to know that
I wouldn't want to be any wiser
Having viewed - I thought in a silly way - I also
Lived and conquered the places I'd have to go to
