Acid Rain
Raindrops fall slowly from a grey mist sky,
so innocent looking, but a menace they hide.
Bathing the ground, stopping the growth, fallout from Chernobyl.
Sulphur dioxide smoke.
Acid rain is formed from industrial waste,
or from nuclear fallout from human mistakes,
slight teething troubles, but "nuclear is the answer",
well try telling that to those who have cancer.
Pollutive industry is removing the green,
factories and houses where fields once had been,
and raindrops still fall on the plants and trees,
how much will it destroy before they finally see?
so innocent looking, but a menace they hide.
Bathing the ground, stopping the growth, fallout from Chernobyl.
Sulphur dioxide smoke.
Acid rain is formed from industrial waste,
or from nuclear fallout from human mistakes,
slight teething troubles, but "nuclear is the answer",
well try telling that to those who have cancer.
Pollutive industry is removing the green,
factories and houses where fields once had been,
and raindrops still fall on the plants and trees,
how much will it destroy before they finally see?
