King of Pangea

There stood a boy around eight years old
He stood amongst them all in the world's blood
And that was years ago, we were on one land
Surrounded by sun and sand, on our island

Boy turned man, turned king
And he ruled amongst the sea
And he prayed for the gods to be
With him for the ride

And he thought about the world
He thought about our land
He wondered how to break the land
And push our love out

The noble king stood on a mountain with his arms wide
As people waited for him down below
And his voice boomed and his eyes shined
People come forth to me
And I pray the gods strike down on thee
Break apart the land
Spread out the land
Show the rest of the sea what we can see

The people clapped and cheered
They celebrated through the night
We're gonna spread our wings tonight
Oh yeah, we're gonna fly

From the earth to the moon
That's where we all come from
Now our world will be one
And the sea, lonely no more

And the king called upon the gods
With gracious eyes he waits
He feels the ground beneath him shake
Then a storm so loud you'd think you were in hell
Lightning crashing to the ground
People running scared
The brave king never blinks
He stands tall with chaos all around
