That life would have a mind of it's own
The rescue that I tried to avoid
It fell into my lap from the tilt of the day
Because I was spending my time
In those self inflicted crimes
The shot glass and the stein

Following your limbo moves
The eyes that stare in empty space
I must have seeing something nobody else saw
You needed me as much
As some dying man needs the touch
