Bum, Bum, Bum

I had a date Francine, bought her a big corsage
We ate some fancy french cuisine,
Drove a new rented dodge
After we went dancing, then she asked me in
When she turned the TV on, I knew I couldn't win

She let me hold her,
Let me kiss her and
Let me touch her some
And though she's been that far before it was no,
To bum bum bum

The next night i called Francine, bought her some french perfume
We went out drinking pink champagne, and danced in the skylight room
Everything was going swell and once more she asked me in,
but when i turned the lights down low, she turned them up again

She let me hold her,
Let me kiss her and
Lets me touch her some
And though she'd been that far before it was no
To bum bum bum

Now Friday was my last shot,
My money was running low,
We ate in a coffee shop and went to a picture show
And when the show was over,
Again she asked me in,
When I tried to sweet talk her she plied me with some gin

She let me hold her,
Let me kiss her and
Lets me touch her some
And when i said lets bum, bum bum she said

Bum bum bum bum (Wedding tune)

Well now i'm married to Francine
And everything should be just great,
But when I want to bum bum bum she has this big headache.
Her mothers moved in with us,
Her brother sleeps on the couch,
I often think of bum bum bum but forget what its about

She let me hold her,
Let me kiss her and
Lets me touch her some
And though she's been this far before it was no
To bum bum bum

Oh man was I dumb dumb dumb (dumb dumb dumb)
You know what I think, I'll have some rum rum rum
Or better yet have a tum tum tum
