Goldfish Bowl

Everything is very new here
I'm swimming in a goldfish bowl
I caught a glimpse of something unfamiliar
Then I ran in to my hole
Tinted windows all surround me
But it has got a certain feel
I might come out and look for a while
To see what I can see...

COS I'M IN MY GOLDFISH BOWL
AND I FEEL LIKE I'M LESS THAN WHOLE
SWIMMING IN MY GOLDFISH BOWL
AND IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE HOME
Oooooooh

Control's no longer with me
I decided to let it be
The flow is much too slow
I won't fall onto my knees... I hope
But there's still a hidden meaning
Something lurking in the deep
It wakes me in the night
And visits me in my sleep

Ooooooh

One look takes me down
Takes me down a peg and breaks me
Leaves me on the floor and makes me
Get up again...

Broken glass is all around me
I am feeling rather limp
The table looks much too high
I need to get into the sink
Oh I am so very thirsty
And I can't see beyond my feet
I don't think I'm getting out of this one
Even if I cheat
Feel like home, it doesn't feel like home
Ooooooh
