Veiled Worth

She feels sick,
and has gained a sense of worthlessness
Reminiscing the past,
they thought that it would last
He's trying to change her for the worse,
his views seem to be diverse
How can one change someone they supposedly love,
it sounds quite absurd

Now she knows, but at least she's not alone

I wish you'd tell me how you feel,
instead of attempting to go alone in this one dear
She's ripping herself apart,
thinking with her brain and not her heart
Death lasts longer than life,
which gives us more reasons to survive
