Rain

River, you flow from the high to the low;
From the rarefied air to the sea, you are there.
Every step of the way, you keep flowing downhill
And while the water is plentiful, you always will.

Sea, you accept from the land you surround
The continuous water from on the high ground,
Which replenishes that which has gone to the air
Since the water you had is now floating up there.

Cloud, you have floated across to the hills
From the sea (where the water is wanting to be).
So when the time comes and you find you must rise,
Then the rain will come tumbling out of the skies.

So now you must see, and you must understand,
That though most of the rain will flow straight down the drain,
It will come back again in an equal supply
Via the sewers, the rivers, the sea and the sky.

So now you must see, and you must understand,
That though most of the rain will flow straight down the drain,
It will come back again in an equal supply
Via the sewers, the rivers, the sea and the sky.
