Lock Me In
For years I lived my life
Through bottles of cheap wine
Hung up. Hung out to dry
Cause no one can stand this site.
Rewind to the 7th grade
My mother would always say,
"You shouldn't be afraid
of baring somebody's weight."
And I don't want to be the one
You can't lean on.
So here I am
And I'm no saint
But I'll always try to bear the weight
And if I fail
We'll fall as one
I'm not the kind that likes to run.
So lock me in, I won't fall out
I swear I'll be there.
Through bottles of cheap wine
Hung up. Hung out to dry
Cause no one can stand this site.
Rewind to the 7th grade
My mother would always say,
"You shouldn't be afraid
of baring somebody's weight."
And I don't want to be the one
You can't lean on.
So here I am
And I'm no saint
But I'll always try to bear the weight
And if I fail
We'll fall as one
I'm not the kind that likes to run.
So lock me in, I won't fall out
I swear I'll be there.
