Keep on Walking

I sit waiting for a sign,
A spark that brings a little peace of mind.
And if it comes,
Will I find daylight in the bleak?
'Cause I've tried and tried,
But it's still overwhelming me.

Well I could sit around and think of my wrong turns,
Hold a candle to my hand until it burns.
But nothing ever came of sitting down and talking,
So I lift my head, and I'll keep on walking.

My brain steals almost all my time,
Thoughts let in like long lost friends of mine.
I've tried to run, I've tried to chase them all away.
They've settled down, looks like they're here to stay.

Well I could sit around and think of my wrong turns,
Hold a candle to my hand until it burns.
But nothing ever came of sitting down and talking,
So I lift my head, and I'll keep on walking.

Well I could sit around and think of my wrong turns,
Hold a candle to my hand until it burns.
But nothing ever came of sitting down and talking,
So I lift my head, I'll keep on walking away,
Just keep on walking away.
