No Final Goodbye

A part of my body makes me keep asking 'Why'
A beloved one has left me, no final goodbye
Like dust in the wind, you left us behind
Emotions and feelings, they're obstructing my mind

Your eyes are wide open, but you can't see the light
Your long golden hair, looks so neat and tight
The virgin snow melting, the dull icy pain
The entering breeze, it softly whispers your name

It feels as if I am dreaming
A veil of mist shrouds her room
Desperate cries, voices screaming
Echo doom.

My body all frozen, I can hear people talk
No gravity left here, unable to walk
My head void of thought, I hear myself breathe
Unready for mourning, far too early for grief

Your eyes are wide open, but you can't see the light
Your long golden hair, looks so neat and tight
The virgin snow melting, the dull icy pain
The entering breeze, softly whispers your name
