Mr. Radio
When I was young put on the radio, listened to the world i would become.
War and politics commanded, nevermind the beating of a drum.
And my mind it listened patiently my ears grew tired of the solemn noise.
And my heart grew numb to all of it now, curiousity we must avoid.
When it all comes down again bear in mind, it'll come I won't know what's happening, what's hitting me I'm living a dream (or living free).
Mr.
Radio, please just let me be.
Well I take some time alone to wonder, singing through my mornings for a year.
Oh curiousity got the best of me and late one night I turned a hopeful ear.
Well confession in the driver I lost all touch with races to be run.
Well the taste of metal on my lips and from my mouth I pull a loaded gun. When it all comes down again, bear in mind, it'll come, I won't know whats happening, what's hitting me I'm living a dream (or living free).
Mr.
Radio, please just let me be.
Goodnight Mr.
Radio don't set your dial on me.
