Silent Night

"Many years ago in the country of Austria,
one Christmas, a Pastor was told by his
organist that the organ was broken,
and they were not going to have any
Christmas music for Christmas, the
Pastor said oh! The Lord will provide,
so he went on visitation that night,
it was a snowy and he was up in the
mountains of Austria, he looked out
over a village in a valley on his way
back home from visitation, the
words to this song came to him
and on the way home the melody
rang out in his heart and his mind
and he took his guitar and wrote
this song, and come Sunday the
organ was broken but they took
his guitar and sang this song,
and just a few short years this
song became a Christian standard
all over the World."

Silent night Holy night
All is calm all is bright
Round yon Virgen
Mother and Child

Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Silent night Holy night
Darkness flies, all is light
Shepards fear thee, Angles sing
'alleluja hail the King
Christ the Saviour is born
Christ the Saviour is born

Silent night Holy night
Wondrous Star lend thy Light
With the Angles let us sing
'alleluja to our King
Christ the Saviour is born
Christ the is born
