Sometimes I wake up and I wanna take a drive
Just to feel the highway and know I'm still alive
Lately it seems I can't get up to speed
Don't know what I want, and I don't know what I need

In my head it's green to red - and back to green
I'm not myself these days

Seems like we all caught get up in the same old race
Our little fears, the passing years, and the empty chase
And then we come up cold in the middle of nowhere
Fighting hard to breathe, fighting hard for air
