A New Day

All these days should count for something, they're time we borrowed, it's time well spent. We'll cut our ties and pray for morning. I should have said the things I meant. We'll put this plan in motion, a new start to make this better. We'll push the past aside. We're moving forward together. Now I don't need you anymore, your time has come now it's gone. Now I don't need you anymore, cause I've been running too long. From all my problems, from all my painful memories, now I don't need you anymore. All the days we lost are dead and buried, tomorrow brings a better day. Bringing to light the hope we carry we'll learn to live with our mistakes.

Every morning the sun comes up it marks the start of a new day, a new day to learn from the past, a new day to make a change for a better tomorrow. We'll never get back the days we've already lost, but one thing's for sure... we'll be more than ready for whatever comes next. The heaviness of the burdens we once carried has been lifted and replaced by the promise of a new hope... and that hope lies in something not of this world.
