Bring On the Night

Words: Gyle Waddy

When I was fourteen years I left my house walked all alone in the town, no home.
I tell you people I've seen some things down, low enough to make a young man go home.

I went to New York City to find a job
I found the boy, girls couldn't leave me alone.
I had to fight and a struggle through thick 'n thin, and I was filled with a little more sin.

I walked through the city streets was lookin' 'round.
I found no matter the people always frowned.
Walkin' proud out on the town
yeah, big city life knocked me 'round.

Then I decided it was time to change my space. I went to L.A. the star-studded town.

Bring on the night.
Bring on the night.
Take time refelcting just
Bring on the Night.
The things that I've done in my life.
Bring on the night.

I've been around yeah, I've travelled to foreign lands some days were down, and some others were up.
I had to roll with the punches can't knock me down expericence was my very best friend.

Then once again I decided to change my space I saw that life was a sure fairy tale.

I walked through the city streets was lookin' 'round.
I found no matter the people always frowned.
Walkin' pround out on the town
big city life knocked me 'round.

Now I see my life so very differently.
I live in a world that's really real you see.
Walkin' pround this world is my town
big city life knocked me 'round.

Bring on the night.
Bring on the night.
Take time refelcting just
Bring on the night.
The things that I've done in my life.
Bring on the night.
Breath, drink and live and love.
Bring on the night.
