The Webs I Weave

Selfish reasons behind my motivation.
To be sucked dry.
So cold. So dead inside.

These wicked webs I weave.
These spiders kill what I hold dear.
Caught in a world of suffering.
My soul drowns in tortured screams.
Strip off my blood soaked clothes.
And expose. Expose!

My eyes feel like they are sewn shut.
Blind to my lies.
My heart no longer beats.
It slowly, slowly dies.

I want to feel my feet touch the ground.
I'm not blind, but I can't see the light.
I'm not deaf, but I can't hear a sound.
I scream! I scream at the top of my lungs!

I need to fill this void that I call my soul.
I need something to make me feel whole.

These veins run thick with blood.
The sunrise brings crimson skies.
I will fall to my knees.
And I will beg for mercy.
For mercy!

I don't even know where I'm going.
Life moves so fast, slow me down.

What is it that I'm searching for?
Life moves so fast, slow me down.

These wicked webs I weave.
These spiders kill everything.
Everything that I hold dear.

These wicked webs I weave. These wicked webs I weave.
But when it rains, they seem so beautiful.

These wicked webs I weave. These wicked webs I weave.
But when it rains, they seem so beautiful to me.

You. me. caught. in the webs that I weave.
