Who Will Remember Them?

Who will remember them?
The innocent faceless multitude whose lives were lost for oil
We can't remember them, we never saw their faces
Cowering in dark places as our bombs removed the air from all around them

We can remember though how this slaughter started
Our leaders in against our will
All pleas for sanity rejected
We remember still how our young men were killed

They will remember us for countless generations yet to come
Hating us for everything we've done
We destroyed their way of life
And then went home

It's very clear that they lied to the nation
They said something got lost in translation
There really was no conscious intention
To fool us into going to war

It's very clear that they lied to the nation
They said something got lost in translation
There really was no conscious intention
To fool us into going to war

It's very clear that they lied to the nation
They said something got lost in translation
There really was no conscious intention
To fool us into going to war
