What Are You Running From

So you don't feel like any sleep tonight
There's something growing in your mind
And your body's crying out for some relief
But it's proving hard to find

Familiar faces, nothing new

See the morning shining off your shoes

People around you chasing anything that moves

Though you know none of it's quite real
Fight with yourself to try and gain control
But you've no idea who's at the wheel

Can't talk like this not anymore
So now you're running for that door
And all along you got this fire in your heart
But no idea where to start
You wanna catch, watch it burn
But you're still waiting for your turn
And so you go to that old place
So you can hide from all the shame
But it finds you on your own and it calls you by your name saying
