We Are the Hunted

The forest green
echoes out yonder
Mother Nature gleams
stands next to her father
Light trickles down in bright unbroken beams
Which calls the angels to climb Saint Jacob's streams

The fox runs down in the green grass
As the old willows sing their songs of the past
You were wrong but I was right
And time went on and we took flight
The things we say don't mean a thing anymore
Anymore

Time moves ahead
Thinking about its self instead
Never to look back
Time has no intention here
As we learn to disagree
A distant ringing in my ears

And in the end
we learn to live and respect their names
Trees rustle overhead

We are the hunted
And we're running from the noise
Within the sounds of the forest
Sounds of the forest
