Drown

Somebody dumb me down,
I'm swimming in a swamp of my thoughts and they're making me drown.

I wish for all this deep thought,
All This deep rot,

To cease to exist,
And return me to bliss.

Return me to bliss

It's constricting and squeezing. Sometimes I'm so paralyzed I'm barely breathing. In the midst of my angst I start day dreaming.

You should've seen me.
Always optimistic and my life had meaning.
But I'm just wasting, reminiscing on times that were easy.

I'm wasted potential,
All shriveled and measly.

This deep thought,
This deep rot,
It slowly just eats me

Flashes of darkness, the images so grisly.
I'm swimming in a swamp of my misery.

Somebody dumb me down.

You should've seen me.
Always optimistic and my life had meaning.
But I'm just wasting, reminiscing on times that were easy.

I'm wasted potential
All shriveled and measly.
