Lonely

If I ever look lonely to you, maybe its because you're right.
You might be right...
But that don't mean that I'm not happy.
I'm sleeping just fine.
Even on those stranger's dirty floors, out there on the road, I'm doing alright.
I've got my songs and all my dreams and a million different schemes
To keep me warm at night.
I'm so caught up in all these things.
My guitar and home-made wings and the boy becoming a man.
I'm out a thousand of miles from far, and oh so far away
On this love affair with sound and the human heart...
And that's where I'll stay.
If I ever look lonely to you, well maybe its because I am.
I think I am...
But that don't mean I need your pity,
And I don't want to hold your hand.
I've got two of my own, thank you.
I'm not one for breaking hearts.
I'm also not one for telling lies.
I hate to lie.
I won't always feel this way,
But until that pending day
I guess I'm riding alone.
I'm so caught up in all of these things.
My guitar and home-made wings and the boy becoming a man.
I'm out a thousand of miles from far, and oh so far away
On this love affair with sound and the human heart...
And that's where I'll stay.
If you think I'm thinking about love...
You're damn right that I am. Its always on my mind.
Loves of my past and all the love I never dared to try
I just know right now I can't love someone right
...I don't have the time.
