The Human Condition

let's stop for a moment and peel back the layers, examine what we've become
no more individuals, a herd of deaf and dumb
more and more and a little more, what can we consume?
discontent piled as high as the heavens, avarice to the moon
this is a call, come one, come all
an invitation to save ourselves
we've taken notice, a chance for them to quote us
this is when all else fails
every voice can make a powerful noise
to speak of love and destruction of hate
the passing of greed to benefit mankind, a revolution of it's state
isn't it time that we feel again? don't let them steal again, from your life
look around and open up your eyes, let your heart speak for your mind
if hate is your weapon, then waging a war only ends in suicide
race is a wall that comes crashing down if we'd only look inside
this is a call, come one, come all
