Memories

In these days
I start to look back at my life and I'm amazed
Not many things turned out the way I expected
Abandoned hope and shattered dreams
All the love that I rejected
And from a distance it all seems
Like a movie, in which I did not get the lead
Like the beauty
But I'm the beast who had to bleed
So it's my duty, to record it as a time
When I thought the world was mine

But now I see that I've been blind
Today, I put my memories in the bag
Then I mark it with a tag
and I deck it out with flags
Today, I will wallow in memories
Each day, from the first to the last
take a look at the past, it all happened so fast

Each day, I will wallow in memories
It's alright, if you pine for those old days
But you might, leave it just the way it is
'cause many things, turned out better in the end
let's see what the future brings

look ahead and spread your wings
Today, I put my memories in the bag
Then I mark it with a tag
and I deck it out with flags
Today, I will wallow in memories
Each day, from the first to the last
take a look at the past, it all happened so fast

Each day, I will wallow in memories
I take a look at the past like it's a postcard
I collect it and keep it in my storage yard
Once in a while I throw away the bad ones and I

I will wonder when the next comes
Today, I put my memories in the bag
Then I mark it with a tag
and I deck it out with flags
Today, I will wallow in memories
Each day, from the first to the last
take a look at the past, it all happened so fast
Each day, I will wallow in memories
