The celebration song

I woke up this morning and I combed my hair
Found a knot hiding, said "What are you doing there?"
He said "I couldn't sleep and I got no home so I crawled right in, you look like a nice bloke."

Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta taste, taste the celebration

Went downstairs, didn't do my hair
Didn't look so hot, but should I care?
Went to the store with the knot still there
He said "You've been so nice, you showed me you really cared."

We bought shampoo and some Gatorade
Offered him some but he said no thanks
Walked around for an hour or two
Shared some laughs, more than just a few

Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta taste, taste the celebration

I got back home, turned on the shower
Sat around and waited for a half an hour
Took off my clothes and I shut the door
Opened the curtain and
STOP

He said "Dear friend, before you step in, let me tell you something that takes one moment
I'd like to thank you, what you did today
You're the only one that would make this little change
You walked around all day with me
You've given me hope and made me so happy
As I move on to another place, I will always have faith
And"

Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta taste, taste the celebration

Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-taste, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta taste, taste the celebration

La, la, la, la, taste the celebration
