Dream Overture

There is a world, in a time far beyond sight,
Where all the dreams of what the future might hold,
have long since become passé.
Where the edges of existence have been reached again and again,
Where all possible troubles have come and gone,
And the lives of men have become something unexpected,
They have neither rhyme nor reason, but rather
Those of this world do whatever they should so please
They blocked out the stars, and reshaped the earth to their design
And now,
They want to travel beyond our universe, to others so close
yet so different to our own
To meet themselves in these alternate realities,
To find those of kin exactly like their own,
To search those multiverses simply because they choose to.

And so, we find ourselves watching one such human:
a woman named Char.
Who has worked with the binary matter, a chemical of man's design
which can change to be any form of material or substance,
Who through accident has become poisoned by it,
and now sees in the binary matter, daymares and mirages,
Figures and beings of all horrid shapes and sizes, hauntingly real to her,
Char's only solace from the torture of these visions is her lover,
a man with sparkling blue eyes,
Yet Char is about to leave him,
to embark beyond our existence to one parallel,
And to see for herself,
The Infinite Multiverse.
